Jointly ratified by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Education, China-ASEAN Education Training Center—one of China’s 10 training centers for ASEAN countries, was founded in Our School.
China-ASEAN Education Training Center is one of China’s 10 training centers for ASEAN countries jointly ratified by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Education and was a state-level training center for helping foreign agricultural talents. With the present resources of YNAU, the center will develop into one that transmits agricultural science and technology and prominent Chinese culture, and cultivate high-quality talents of agricultural science and technology for ASEAN countries.

In October, 2011, Premier Wen Jiabao broached “China is willing to set up 10 training centers to provide talents for the economic and social development of ASEAN countries” at the 14^th China-ASEAN Leaders Conference—the summit for the 20^th anniversary for China-ASEAN dialogue relationship. In order to implement Wen’s instructions, ten state-level China-ASEAN Education Training Centers were jointly ratified by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Education, located in Guangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Fujian and Heilongjiang respectively.
